Following FAW and GAC, Xiangjiang Paint Secures “Exclusive Supply” Qualification from CRRC
According to Huizheng Information, exciting cooperation news emerged from the green manufacturing sector of rail transit equipment. The public notice period for direct procurement of water-based coatings by Zhuzhou Times New Material Technology Co., Ltd. officially ended. Xiangjiang Paint Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Xiangjiang Paint”) successfully won the bid as the sole supplier, deeply embedding itself into the CRRC supply chain system.

This public notice is not only another key positioning for Xiangjiang Paint in the rail transit equipment field, but also a microcosm of its strong performance since the beginning of 2026. From core procurement by trillion-yuan automotive giants to major tenders in the steel industry, Xiangjiang Paint is demonstrating “acceleration” in the high-end industrial coatings track with its “exclusive supply” posture.

Exclusive Supply for Bogies: Xiangjiang Paint’s Water-based Product Chain Deeply Bound to CRRC
The core highlights of this successful bid are “exclusivity” and “criticality.”
According to the public notice, since there was only one valid supplier, the project was advanced through direct procurement. This means that from formula design and performance verification to batch delivery, Xiangjiang Paint has become a strategic partner of CRRC’s affiliated companies through its irreplaceable technical advantages.
All procured materials are water-based environmentally friendly products, covering a full range of water-based coating materials including topcoats, primers, curing agents, and cleaning agents. Notably, these coatings will be fully applied to a critical component of rail transit vehicles — the bogie. As the running gear of the vehicle, the bogie has extremely stringent requirements for anti-corrosion, impact resistance, and long-term weather resistance of the coating.
Xiangjiang Paint’s water-based products can effectively reduce VOC emissions while perfectly matching the complex outdoor service environments of rail transit equipment in terms of key performance indicators such as weather resistance, corrosion resistance, and adhesion. Obtaining the “exclusive supply” qualification this time is undoubtedly a national-level endorsement of its technological strength and product stability, and further consolidates the strategic partnership between the two parties in the field of water-based coatings for rail transit.
