Xiangjiang Paint Becomes Sole Supplier of Waterborne Coatings for CRRC Rail Transit Bogie Project

Xiangjiang Paint Technology Co., Ltd. has successfully won a direct procurement project from Zhuzhou Times New Material Technology Co., Ltd., a company under CRRC, for waterborne coatings used on rail transit bogies.

Xiangjiang Paint is the only supplier for this project. The procurement uses a direct purchasing method because there is only one valid supplier.

The project covers a full set of waterborne coating materials, including topcoat, primer, curing agent, and cleaner. The total weight is approximately 2,454 kg. The topcoat includes Xiangjiang waterborne two-component polyurethane topcoat XJW-58.

Rail transit bogies are key running components. They must withstand vibration, impact, outdoor weathering, and long-term corrosion. Waterborne coatings help reduce VOC emissions while providing good weather resistance, corrosion resistance, and adhesion.

The sole-supplier status confirms Xiangjiang Paint’s technical strength in rail transit waterborne coating applications and supports the green upgrade of rail transit equipment.
